I grew up loving art. As a child I would attend summer art classes at an arts magnet high school. This is where I received the foundation, knowledge, and the love for art. I remember kicking ass in coloring contests. I also remember wanting to step outside the lines and form my own creations. I began drawing and replicating images as I saw them in actuality. I would try to get every aspect correct. Every detail. To me this was not my own creation. This was just like coloring in a coloring book or contest. I decided to change my style and train of thought. I love art that is simple, but yet complex. I would say that my art fits this description. I love to design an image and go from there. There are so many variables that can make an image complex and/or simple. Brush strokes, design elements, layering, depth of field, color, etc. I just try to incorporate what I feel the piece of art needs. I hope you enjoy my artwork.
